I have been wanting to read The Alchemist since childhood quite obvious because of the great hype it has created and people do talk a lot about it. Now only I got a chance to grab it and read it, is it really a great book?? Lets see. It is a story of a shepherd boy from Spanish province of Andalusia who dreams of travelling the world in search of treasure. He follows his heart and in his journey he meets several people, travels varied terrains where he meets the Alchemist. This forms the most of the story.
